Frodo: It's so light!
Bilbo: Yes...yes.. made by the elves you know. The blade glows blue when orcs are close. And its times like that my lad, when you'll have to be extra careful!
(Bilbo holds up a mail shirt)
Bilbo: Here's a pretty thing.. Mithril! As light as a feather! And as hard as dragon scales! Let me see you put it on. Go on.
(Frodo starts to unbutton his shirt, when Bilbo sees the Ring hanging on a chain around Frodo's neck)
Bilbo: Oh... M..my old Ring! I sh-sh-should very much like to hold it again, one last time.
(Frodo starts to button up the shirt again to cover the Ring. Bilbo, lashes out for it. Frodo startles and backs away. Bilbo turns back to old self and sits down on the bed, weeping)
Bilbo: I'm sorry I brought this upon you my boy...I'm sorry that you must carry this burden. I'm sorry for everything!
(The Fellowship is preparing to leave Rivendell, and the Elves have gathered to bid them farewell)
Elrond: The Ring-bearer is setting out on the Quest of Mount Doom. On you who travel with him, no oath, nor bond is laid to go further than you will. Farewell. Hold to your purpose. May the blessings of Elves and Men and all Free Folk go with you.
Gandalf: The Fellowship awaits the Ringbearer
(Frodo turns and starts to walk out of the gates of Rivendell)
Frodo: (whispers) Mordor, Gandalf, is it left or right?
Gandalf: Left.
(Aragorn and Arwen exchange a last look before he follows the rest of The Fellowship. After traveling over open plains, up and down hillsides, they take a rest on a hill)
Gandalf: We must hold this course west of the Misty Mountains for 40 days. If our luck holds the Gap of Rohan will still be open to us. From there our road turns east to Mordor.
(Boromir is training Merry and Pippin how to sword fighting, with Aragorn watching)
Boromir: Two, One, Five. Good, very good.
Aragorn: Move your feet.
Merry: You look good, Pippin.
Pippin: Thanks.
Boromir: Faster!
Gimli: If anyone was to ask for my opinion, which I note they're not, I'd say we were taking the long way round. Gandalf, we could pass through the Mines of Moria. My cousin Balin would give us a royal welcome.
Gandalf: No Gimli, I would not take the roads through Moria unless I had no other choice.
(Legolas jumps from one stone to another, noticing something far away in the South Boromir accidentally hurts Pippin's hand)
Boromir: Sorry!
Pippin: Aaah!
(Pippin kicks Boromir's leg)
Boromir: Ah!
Merry: Get him!
(Boromir battles with the two hobbits and Boromir and Aragorn laughs)
Pippin: For the Shire! Pippin: Hold him! Hold him Merry!
Aragorn: Gentlemen, that's enough!
(Aragorn tries to intervene but gets thrown back)
Merry: He got my arm! He got my arm!
(Sam notices that Legolas have seen something)
